For more than five decades, Quinn Piling has been synonymous with civil engineering, piling, and geotechnical excellence in the UK and Ireland. Originally founded as WJ Quinn Contracts, the company grew from its civil engineering and drilling roots to become one of the region’s leading providers of modern foundation and ground engineering solutions.

In 1976, WJ Quinn made history by purchasing one of the first rotary hydraulic drilling rigs to arrive in Ireland. This pioneering equipment was used for water wells, ground anchors, rock sockets and drilled shafts, setting the foundation for the company’s future in geotechnics and piling.

From small beginnings to industry leaders

What started as a small family business has grown into a respected name with a highly skilled and experienced team. Quinn Piling earned its reputation for quality and innovation by consistently delivering results in civil and ground engineering, even on the most demanding sites.

As the piling industry advanced, so did our company. Today, Quinn Piling operates an extensive fleet of specialist plant and piling rigs.
